Rockies trade:
SP - Robbie Ray ($13.3m) 7/7

Reds trade:
1B/OF - Alex Kiriloff ($800k) 2/7
SP - Bailey Ober ($800k) 2/7

Rockies confirm. This was a tough deal to commit to… Ray was just fantastic, but I really like Kiriloff. I’m hopeful he bounces back and shows he can be an impact bat. Ober showed 3/4 starter potential last season. My Twins bias is at full speed on this one. My roster is old and expensive though, so I need to make trades like this.

Reds Accept. One thing we need on our team is pitching. Now we can pair Ray with Cole to form a strong top 2 pitching combo. Our minors is stronger in positional depth, which allowed this move to be possible. Good deal, Alex!

I'll approve. Id rather have the control of Kiriloff, but Ray was the Cy Young winner, so his value is definitely up.
