I accept. A lot of projection here from me. Two months from now, there’s a chance Mervis himself is worth this package alone. And there’s also a chance each Charles and the #32 pick are worth more than him. I’m not necessarily betting on the latter situation as much as I’m betting on Charles being worth the hype and this draft being incredibly deep. Rodgers is certainly a loss, but I think he’s a pretty steady 3 PPG guy and I’m okay cashing out of him before he hits arbitration. Rockies confirm. I don't want to wait 3 years for these assets to be having an impact at the MLB level. Missing the playoffs just sucks. Both of these guys are controllable and will be helping me next month as I shape my roster towards next year. Mervis has looked great in AAA since being sent down... hope he plays much better in his second try in the last third of the season. We bet on post-hype pitchers all the time... Rodgers is intriguing to me still at Coors Field. Good talks, Max!
