The Trade Committee

Hey everyone,

I've thought it over and decided on a league trade committee. We will try this out, if it works, great, if it doesn't, we can always figure something else out.

So here's the committee, please PM me if you are unavailable to be in this position.

Rockies (Alex)
Phillies (Jon)
Marlins (HJ)
Nationals (Peter)
Reds (Slava)
Orioles (Mike)
Royals (Bill)

and two alternatives for when the members of the TC are involved in trades.

Indians (Michael)
Tigers (Jake)

Brewers and Angels will also help as alternatives, but since they're also co-commish's I thought I'd give some of the other owners a shot.

So this is the committee. It was formed based on activity, participation, and just looking up what has been said on trades and how you've made your input.

So the new rules are 4 approves it passes, 4 vetoes it cancels, simple as that. Majority rules.

We will begin this immediately... except for the trades that already have votes on them.

I'll try to send you a pm. Just either you or Indians vote on a trade if you see that one of the TC is involved in it. First come, first serve .

He most likely thinks it would help to keep voters anonymous. I find it unnecessary though

Yes, it would keep votes anonymous. You may think it's not needed, but it's human nature that IF someone were to keep vetoing the same person's deals or deals involving a particular player then a GM COULD get ticked and hold a grudge. Not saying it would happen, but COULD happen.
