Okay,
I need discussion here. Should we have a 50-man or just a 25-man roster.
I'm leaning towards the 25-man and will decide to go with it unless i hear some nice ideas otherwise!
So let's go!

For now we choose 25 guys, if they get called up they are added to fourty man, on google docs, if they are on 40-man and in MiLB, put them in italics.
40-man is a little better than 50, I have 50 players on my team.

We should absolutely have a maximum number of MLB players that can be on a roster. There are teams that already have something like 20 relievers signed and on their roster.
Imagine if have an essentially unlimited MLB roster. Teams would be able to sign like 100 players and just keep them until one of them hopefully get a starting gig. This isn't viable in real baseball and shouldn't be viable in fantasy baseball.

Alright, I agree with Slava on this one. Great points. 50-man's need to be posted for this season. Get on it guys.

I'd love to get on it but I might want a couple guys from the draft on my 50-man so can we please speed this up?

You can always change your 50-man. It won't lock until March 25th. Roster setting deadline.

Alright, I'll do that ASAP.
So if a two-for-three trade occurs, if all those players were on 50-mans, the second guy would have to take a guy off his 50-man, correct? And the owner getting two players would be allowed to move a guy up, right? If so, are these the only ways to make roster changes?

Yeah, that's the only way. It does sound harsh at the beginning. But I guarantee you no one has 25 extra players and prospects that will be playing for them in the MLB. So you'll be in fine.

I'm fine with it. I just wanted to clarify.
