The Arizona D'Backs trade SP Hiroki Kuroda '12: $5M - '13: $5M - '14: $5M
to the
Los Angeles Angels for 1B/DH Kendrys Morales '12: $3.5M - '13: $4M - '14: $4.5M
The Angels needed a SP to keep them in the hunt for the title.
The D'Backs are out of contention and wanted to add another piece to their resurrecting batting order.
We both got what we wanted in this deal.
