Formal Resignation

Hello all,

Some of you are quite familiar with me, and some of you who are rather new probably haven't heard much from me. This season I was put in a rather difficult situation with injuries losing Jose Fernandez and Kris Medlen early on for the entire season along with Kershaw/Grienke/Liriano/Ryu each for periods of time. This as you could assume put a huge damper on my season and made my team rather incompetent. It's because of this and a few other personal matters (school mainly, I'm a junior in college, taking upper level classes, searching for internships, working on top of being at school in our athletic department)that I have decided that it's for the best that I leave this league. I was probably the worst owner in this league this past season, making very few moves and never appearing in chat per usual (Late-Night chat crew was the best while it lasted Derrick, Kyle, Mike, etc.) I think that it will be in the best interest of both parties that we separate. Luckily, I'm leaving your future owner with a team with exceptional talent. You won't find a staff of Kershaw/Greinke/Ryu/Fernandez anywhere else. My farm is also stocked with some fine gems as well that a future owner will be lucky to have.

Austin,
We had alot of good times (late night crew & all). You've been one of the best owners in here, building your team into the annual contender that it has become. Like you said....possibly the best rotation in the league.

It's sad to read that you have to move on, but real life always supercedes fantasy. I wish you the best of luck, and maybe in the future you'll have the time to come back. Not just for visits but as an owner.

Once again good luck, and I wish you much success in your real life endeavours.
