I love Dee Gordon, but a player of Jones' caliber is hard to come by. I'll have payroll room to squeeze in Price and Jones at a combined $70M next season.

Losing Jones hurts but I unload a big contract and get a great prospect and a controllable player and a more difficult position. Chose to make a long term decision.
