Please tell me this is a joke?
You're all going to just let this go.
What's the point in even bothering to trade if Big Brother is going to oversee everything and determine the fate. I put a lot of time into these past few days and right now I feel robbed of a chance to improve my team and my credibility feels like it's been disregarded...

I don't think Travis made a smart trade, but if parity is what we are looking for, why is a deal where talent is going from a very good team to a bad team vetoed? I have been bit by the veto bug more than anybody, and the veto system does need to change. There is an issue if an owner consistently makes bad trades, or trades Mike Trout for a 6th round pick. Travis has proven to be a good, dedicated owner, why do we do that to good owners? I have been in the league for five years, had deals vetoed more than anybody, and it took me half a decade to pass enough trades through to have a competitive team. How is that parity?
Side note. I know a guy who left this league because he felt that deals were vetoed too much. Want to know where he is now? Working for the Dodgers.

You and Jared are on the far left side of the spectrum when it comes to allowing trades. There is nothing wrong with that way of thinking and I generally lean towards that view. Not everyone is going to share your views and you have to accept that. I know you said that you hate vetoes but it is a part of fantasy baseball and it does happen from time to time. I don't think this league has a veto problem like Jarod and Clair are saying there is.

First of all, please stop being overdramatic. Like Alex said, 95% of the trades in this league get passed. Second, you're not being "robbed of a chance to improve" just because one of your trades was vetoed. If the situations were reversed, would you think this was a fair trade? Third of all, what credibility do you have in this league that has been disregarded? You cannot establish credibility in one week.

How am I not being robbed? Someone else will probably trade for Alex Jackson and give Travis a far greater deal than what I can give... also, you don't have to be a prick. My credibility too manage my own team is being disregarded. This decision should be reversed and I'll be a pissed as I want to be. This whole veto was a load of crap and you telling to me stop bitting the hand that feeds just proves the notion there are issues with the veto process... this doesn't appear to be the first time this has happened.

Anyone who wants to make suggestions on trade policy changes just shoot me a PM as I've always been in this league, suggestions are always welcomed and will never be just shot down without discussion. Sweet, thanks guys

Or you can make a group PM with the league staff or whoever you want, I'd just like to be a part of it so I can help things move along if they need to or explain why I don't think it would work or whatever.

Just thought I would hit you all with this little nugget of info
Logan Morrison was rated the #20 prospect in all of baseball by Baseball America in 2010. So Alex Jackson could easily follow in his footsteps since you all love prospect rankings

We could do this all day. Once again, you are proving my point. You don't know who they will turn into. There is no way to project that. And Walker isn't a great argument for you by the way.

Ok but you know what you have with Morrison who is hitting below the Mendoza line... In no way is he worth a top 30 player, regardless of how you think that player will turn out.

But he isn't a top 30 player. He's a top 30 PROSPECT. And what you and I think shouldn't matter. What matters is what the Giants and Marlins think. And they think it's fair. It's their decision
