I accept. 3rd Rd pick is steep for Pelfrey but the salary coverage makes up for it. Hope he sticks in the rotation and it pays off.

allow. I keep hearing about how valuable starting pitchers are, however a 3rd round pick is "steep" for a SP that will only cost $750k? I think the Pirates are selling low and the Padres are making out like bandits in this deal.
