Amteaur Draft 3rd round pick (CLE)
Nationals receive:
2B Chase Utley $5.0 Million (3 Million covered)
The Blue Jays accept this trade because Utley, with Howie Kendrick almost back, reps will continue to decrease, so might as well deal him while he still holds some value, and get a solid draft pick and two hopeful prospects. Also, it clears some cap space that could be used to accquire some big time players. Best of luck man!
