Astros are getting subsidized all-star players here at the cost of a lot of future talent and controlled years with a Top 50 prospect and the two draft picks and an extra year on Gyorko. My team is looking to capitalize on the current window by adding a much needed SP, and improving my starting 2B for the next two years.

Veto. Giving up 2 big league, above average players for 1 solid prospect and a 2 draft picks? Gyorko isn't much to write home about. Dozier is top 10 2B according to MLB Network, and Samarj is a solid number 3 in a rotation. Sure, picks are high. But I have yet to have a 3rd round pick amount to anything, and picks take normally 3 years to get to bigs, where Stros can compete now with their haul.
