After missing out on most of free agency, it became necessity to add the final offensive piece that the Astros were looking for. The Astros will take on all of the Reddick's 2017 salary in exchange for two promising Dodgers prospects - one of whom is likely to make an MLB debut this season (Oaks).

I accept, hate to lose a solid guy like reddick but had some outfield depth and desperately needed salary relief which I get and pick up a pair of prospects which I also can use desperately- thanks for the trade
