I have a lot of pending free agents and I won't be able to retain all of them with many pending arbitration cases. I've decided to sell one pending free agent in Stephen Strasburg and another pending arbitration case in Roberto Osuna. I was expecting at least a Comp A pick for Strasburg, so everything on top of that paid for the value in 4 years of Osuna. Overall, I add a rising SP prospect, a RP-flyer who has looked great at the end of 2017 and a high draft pick that is normally unattainable for the Astros. Thanks for the negotations, Thomas.

Indians accept. This trade gives me the chance to add a star starting pitcher in Strasburg, who I have the free funds to retain, and grab a top 10 closer for some more points out of my bullpen. I gave up a lot to grab these guys, but overall I like the value I’m getting out of the deal. It was great dealing with you, Will! Good luck in continuing to fill out your team for next year!

Approve. I think it makes sense for both teams as the Indians jump start their rebuild and add to their core while the Astros get something out of a pending free agent that he likely would not be able to retain.

Allow. The first moved draft pick of 2018 and it's the 4th overall, nice get for the Astros! The Indians, with a shining example that tanking is indeed a waste of time. Nick Neidert really improved his stock as well, while a blown save by Osuna kept the Astros from breaking the overall points record. This is a really good deal for the Astros and the Indians are getting some talent.
