Compensation Round Draft Order

Hi guys,
Simple clarification. I have typically ordered the compensation round picks based on the amounts players scored in the previous season. Being we now base compensation picks on the past three years of performance, I think it would make more sense to order the compensation round picks based on their extension value (weighted points on best two years over three season). In short, I will just look at the extension value of each player worth a comp pick and order the comp picks based on extension value.
Any objections? If I don't hear any, I'll just make the change being this is minor without a specific rule on it already.
