Executive Committee

In the discord channel we had discussions about creating a new executive committee. The goal of the executive committee is to make decisions on the grey areas in the rules. An example of this would be when Travis unknowingly broke the existing written rules by adding a free agent during the playoffs after the free agent bidding should've been locked down. 

Proposal:
1. Create a new executive committee of 5 members.
2. Committee consists of 2 GMs from each league plus the commissioner as the 5th member.
3. The executive committee would not be the governing body for new rules or rule changes - only grey areas in the rules. 
4. New rules and rule changes will continue to be voted on by all GMs in the league. 
5. Voting on who the 4 at large members should be will commence once this proposal has been approved. Start raising your campaign funds!
6. GMs will also vote on the term limit of the 4 at large members (i.e. 1 year, 2 year, 4 years, etc).

To be clear, this committee would be put in place to resolve single issues (as the example of Travis FA signing above) only?

Great idea. I'd love to not be the only person deciding ultimate verdicts on some of those grey area issues.

Why such long terms? I’d rather see something shorter like 2 years for each spot. Have elections every offseason.

For the first election, the highest vote getter in each league gets the 2 years, and the lowest vote getter from each league gets the 1 year term and has to run again for the full 2 year term next offseason.
