I think we're going to go with a trade committee of 7 members.
Suggestions for how to make this committee guys?
Thanks.

The commishes and most active owners, and it should be 9.

i think 7 per trade is a good number, it could get confusing/take too long if its more than 7. But, i think we should have more than 7, maybe 9 or 10, in case people are on vacation or can't check in for a while that way we ensure that theres 7 per trade. If we only pick 7 owners, we risk holding up a trade for too long if someones away. And no offense to the commishes but i think it may be too much work for all of them to be on the committee. I agree some should be part of it, but for example Alex is already in charge of Free Agents and stuff like that, Slava has to do all the google docs, etc. just my ramblings

Well you should have 7 that actively vote and then 3-5 alternates. For several reasons. A) Maybe a TC member is out of town B) TC should NOT be allowed to vote on their own trades so you would need an alternate vote on that trade.

I think a trade committee of commissioners as well as active members would be ideal (if we choose to go that route).
Although, I still think that perhaps the current system is best. I believe in honesty, transparency, and equality which is embodied in the current system where every member can vote. And I have no problem in backing up my points about vetoes and approvals (even if it does get me negative Karma).

I agree with backing up why you veto (if a deal is vetoed). That way both GM's will know what they need to rework.
