Twins Recieve-
Sandavol $0.5 Brad Peacock 12mil thru 2016
White Soxs Recieve-
Miquel Sano
Now i want to do the deal b.c i think sandavol is a solid 3rd basemen and i also like peacock. I think that Sano has huge potenical and could be better then both these spects one day. Im taking a risk at sandavol as his contract is up and Peacock with his 12 mil contract. So saying this deal is vetoable is crazy.
Im taking on money and he gets a player that has the potencial to be amazing

Sandoval gets arbitration until 2015 actually, his contract is not up.

I accept. I am doing this deal because I am building for the future. I am giving away two young players but I get back a 3b with huge potential.

Thanks for the heads up Indians, this is still a bad deal for Twins, but it can be approvable. Approve.

Funny, I think that the Twins kill in this deal. Sandoval is only 25 and is pretty solid at a thin position. And he's already producing in the Majors. Peacock has very good numbers in the high minors and even though he has an insane salary, Twins have a ton of cap room.
Sano looks pretty impressive, but he still in the Rookie league and has a long way to go.
I like the Twins side a lot better but I agree with Alex, I don't think this is veto worthy.
I approve.

I Approve as well, but please stop with the sloppy info on trades. Sandavol $0.5M what the hell man! No first name or letter, incomplete salary. And Miquel Sano. Same story here.No salary, position[sometimes 2 players have the same name, yes that happens]. Jeez, put a little effort into it.

No problem Alex.
I do agree that these trades are sometimes posted without much effort. I think Rockies and I made some sort of outline, like:
Player Name, Position, 2011 Salary (Length of Contract/Signed Until/etc.), (prospect (if applicable))...or somethin like that
So like A-Rod would be (maybe inaccurate):
Alex Rodriguez 3B $31m (2017)
Anyway...I believe this deal is official.

It hasn't been 48 hours, so I don't think it's official.
I'm putting in a Veto.
Sano is a pretty good prospect and for a starting 3B at the MLB level I think you need to give up a little bit more. In addition, adding a Peacock who is himself a pretty good prospect makes me say this trade is not fair for Sox. Please rework.

Idk how such a horrible trade makes it through the system honestly. Sandoval is a top 5 3rd base talent at now seemingly the leagues thinnest position and is cost controlled through Arbitration the next few years, he is not a FA like the Twins said above. Peacock while having a bad salary is a top 50 prospect in the MLB and is already in the majors ready to produce. Sano did not make any top prospect lists and at mid-season still wasn't regarded as the Twins top prospect. Yeah he had a nice year, but its his first good year and hes an 18 year old playing in rookie ball making him at least 3 more years away. Trading 2 proven MLB players for him isn't justifiable IMO and if I was a mod I would veto immediately, but I'm not a mod so you can disregard this if you'd like.

Even though im not supposed to vote, this is exactly why i hate this trade committe, i completely agree with Cards here, Sandoval is hitting .300 in the MAJORS!!! And Sano isnt even that great, plus, one in four top 100 BA prospects have any impact in the major leagues. This isn't even close, and i cannot believe you guys for passing this, an utter disrespect to this league, what happened to making sure no one gets the short end of the stick???

honestly, i think every trade should be approved unless there is collusion. Do you see any evidence of Collusion? both teams have agreed to this trade. theres obviously a reason why White Sox want to do the trade, same for Twins. There have been plenty of MLB trades that aren't even close to being fair. There is no way that every trade is going to be completely fair... and we shouldn't try for that. The GMs are in charge of their teams and should be allowed to make their own decisions. Its too bad that the owner made a bad decision, but they shouldn't be rewarded for that. they should have to live with the trade they accepted, and the team that they made.

Just Bull-S**ting here but it was White Sox first day in the league, obviously there is no evidence but Twins could of very well been taking advantage of someone who didn't know much about the league yet. Again not accusing anybody, just speaking my mind.

I cant believe this league right now, and absolute joke. Sandoval is a STUD. Stupid, I'm really pissed that this league passed this.

hes a STUD? he's the best player at his position? better than longoria, ryan zimmerman, david wright, youk, Arod, moustakas has better upside, i mean he's top 10 but far from a stud.
he's hitting .296 with 18 hrs, 56 rbi. Not really numbers of a stud, just decently good numbers.

You must not remember Sandoval being on the DL this year, or the crappy offense he plays in.

His career avg's are .303/.352/.488 21 hrs 85 rbis and way less k's than your avg 3rd baseman and those avgs are including this year in which he missed many games

id say .296 is pretty freaking good nats, and he was injured for a while, so those power numbers are pretty impresive, heres what i gave up for him in my other league: Rob Rasmussen '11 (0.3) MINORS Christian Yelich '11 (0.3) MINORS DJ LeMahieu '11 (0.3) MINORS Brooks Raley '11 (0.3) MINORS 5 Million for the next two years '12 and '13 Darwin Barney '11 0.4M 12:0.4M 13: ARB,if over 3yrs
By the way those prospects are really good too.

Okay guys, none of these deals involved you. We're doing the trade committee. This is ONE deal, it does not make or break a league. I didn't know the numbers at first, but he is a VERY good 3B, but Peacock is also a very high paid player for 6 years, if he's a bust that's a long time to pay for someone. Sano, on the other-hand, has some of the best potential in the minors. So, I admit that Twins is getting a good deal, but he White Sox isn't getting nothing, so let's vote on the committee, and everyone can decide on trades from now on. Okay?

This deal is official. All deals from now on will be voted on by every owner in the league.
