Reds Trade OF: Mike Stanton - FLA - .4M
Astros Trades OF: Angel Pagan - NYM - 11:$3.5Mil 12:$Arb RP: Daniel Bard - BOS - .5M SP: Danny Duffy - KC - .3M
I needed a stud. I give up a good young pitcher who i fell in love with. I lose a decent OF and a stud relief pitcher. I got aaron crow in a previous deal so RP is not a need for me now. I love Mike Stanton with the power he provides.
Reds to accept

Veto....
My reasoning: Stanton is an up and coming power bat with many years left to shine. Pagan is an OF with not many highs, so he isnt worth much, in my opinion. He has a low BA and a mediocre amount of SBs, thats really it. Also, the 2 other Ps dont make up for the gap between Pagan and Stanton. For these reasons, i veto

Sorry, but Veto. Pagan isn't nearly the OF that Stanton is and never will be. And Bard + Duffy don't make up the difference. What you gave for Stanton (Chris Young, Mike Leake +) is much more than this and that almost got vetoed. Also, Stanton is ranked 18 on ESPNs most recent Keeper Rankings.

Approve. I agree with Peter's comments, and Stanton at 21 years old will get even better. But in the context of a points league, Stanton's Ks hurt his production. Stanton has scored 494 pts this year or 3.66 per game. Pagan, scored 408 and I was surprised to see he averaged 3.64 per game. Now Stanton is on the rise and Pagan, not so much, but add in Bard's 284 points and Duffy's 231, and consider their upside....it's hard to see how both teams don't get better.

While i can't see the logic behind this deal(it's not that you need RP),I can't veto this deal. Stanton K rate is high and will keep high.So his "Net Points Worth" isn't as high as one would expect. Why you are taking less than you gave for him baffles me though. But,To each his own.

I guess this is up to me... based upon Duffy's performance so far in the MLB. I approve. Official.
