Something in this league needs to change about vetoes. 1/4 of the trades in this league are vetoed...that's an insane ratio!
And now people are vetoing because their trades are getting vetoed!
No, this doesn't have to do with the vetoes on my deal, I've noticed this over time...I mean, how are teams supposed to improve if their trades are shot down a lot!
I truly believe a trade can only be vetoed if it's absolutely awful or collusion can be proved.
Sorry for the spiel, guess I'm cranky tonight haha

You're right Michael. Most of the time when people veto and post why they veto it's because THEY would not do the deal. Well, isn't that obvious and the reason why the team took the other deal? My reason for my first veto ever is because I truly felt that the White Sox renigged on an already accepted trade to take a lesser trade (my opinion) because of how strong my team is, and that is wrong. You are correct in that the vetoes are getting outrageous. They went to tarde committee one time, but then everyone got pissed because they were not on the committe. I was like WOW when I saw that.

I would NEVER EVER not make a trade because I thought a team was getting to good. Thats not the right way to play.

You know, it's interesting to see who complains about vetoes. It's not teams that are on the short end(because they usually rework the deal and get more or get a better offer from someone else), it's teams who are getting a huge return simply because they made the first offer.
Ok, so maybe you think it's unfair because you feel like you have the right to players when the other guys agrees to a deal, but if you really want a player, then make a better offer or make a good offer to start with... not one of those lowball offers I can't believe the other guy actually accepted.
Teams who are getting the short end of the stick are helped out by the rules, and I don't think the job of the trade review should be to make it that good teams get even better or that inexperienced managers get fleeced.
Leave it as is... and make better offers.

I'm makin this into too big of a deal. It's just a free fantasy league. Let's drop it I don't think you're making it into a big deal at all. I think all of us in this league welcome discussion about how we can make this league better.
