Hey guys,
What's everyone's opinion on moving the Astros to the AL Asap and adding the 2 playoff teams?
Benefits to both! More chances for the playoffs, it makes it more fair for the league. Easier on the NL Central, tougher on the AL West.
Vote!

Dont see the point in waiting really, if it improves the league now then why not

Right, not tryin to argue against it, just bringin up that in real Mlb that's the time table, so we should take that into consideration IF we were trying to be exactly like MLB, and we DON'T have to be. Just makin sure that the point was brought to rveryone's attention.

We would like to welcome the Astros to the AL west . It makes things more fair having the same number of teams in each division. It'll be interesting to see how the new Texas inter-division rivalry plays out between the Rangers, & Astros over the coming years. I also like the idea of adding two more wild card playoff teams(one from each league). We just need to keep in mind any potential scheduling conflicts that may arise given that there will be an odd number of teams(15) in each league. I like both proposals.

Guys... you're forgetting one thing. H2H will not work if there are 15 teams in each league.
One option is to make regular season cumulative points and Post-season H2H, but the H2H system as it stands needs an even amount of teams in each league.

Could we have a bye week? I mean, it would only be a bye every 14 weeks? I wouldn't be that big of a deal if we did that.

Or make each league 16 teams and have a blank team which would count as the bye and have the owner playing that team bench their players, or ESPN allows LM's to adjust points. With the blank team every team would just get another win or they would all have a tie

Even if we do the bye thing, why would we change the system 1 year before the MLB does. I'd personally benefit because the odds of my team making the playoffs would increase once the Astros are in the NL - but I'm a purist and I say we try to mirror the MLB as much as we can.

Let's hold off on this one until we know what ESPN can do.
