Twins Recieve
- Bobby Parnell $0.4 3-4 years until arb - 1st Rd Pick (pick 17)
Nats Recieve
- Joe Nathan 12.5 mil
I accept because i am rebuilding and need the 1st rd pick. Joe Nathan should do really well for Texas this year tho

Veto, Nathan alone isn't worth a first round pick in myopinion

Agreed. Nathan is worth less in Texas because of their solid options other than Nathan. He would've been more valuable in Minnesota where he'll actually close. Veto

Approve
I wouldn't do it... especially considering Parnell will probably close for Mets and is controlled for longer, but it's anybody's guess as to who'll be better this year.

Well, no, feliz is movin to the rotation. So you're misinformes. But, you're correct about the hitters park thing.

Well, no, feliz is movin to the rotation. So you're misinformes. But, you're correct about the hitters park thing. With that money the Rangers are giving Nathan, there is no way he won't be closing when it comes the start of the season. And this talk about him clsosing in a pitchers park is pure speculation. Who are we to know if he's going to be good/bad there? Can't say he is until he actually shows. Can't veto a trade based on one's speculation. And as far as the trade itself goes, as Slava said, I wouldn't accept this deal in my own case, but I can see why somebody else would. Nathan is a proven comoddity coming off an injured season, who actually got better as the season went on. Parnell on the other hadn, although having the skills capable of closing, is no proven commodity, and although may be handed the closer's job to start next year, there is no track history there to show how good he'll be. Combine this with the fact that nathan will be pitching for a better team, which would mean more saves, and the fact that Pete is trying for it next year while Kyle is rebuilding is enough for me. Rant over, that is all. I still approve by the way!

plus the Rangers actually win games...more saves and Parnell doesn't even have the Mets job yet...not a long term thing

Approve. Speculation is just that, speculation. Their teams let them manage.
