Hey guys,
I wanted to give everybody an idea of what I find to be a fun idea for an article for the league.
I have seen this on ESPN before, and so may have you, but it is the total franchise ranks. These take into account many factors, be it the prestige of the franchise, managament, current roster, cap room, minors etc... but it takes all of these factors into one and overall grades all of the teams, and then ranks them accordingly.
I am planning on doing something similar here, where I take a wide range of factors into account, and then critique, grade, then rank all of the teams accordingly.
Some of the factors will include:
Current MLB Roster
Minor League Roster
Cap Room
Quality of Management (Owner, you)
Team History, Prestige (W/L, overall record)
I am looking to do this soon, probably in the coming weeks.
So one question I want to ask is if anybody wants to corroborate with me on this, and we could both tackle this together, do a review per team, and then average the grade together on a 10 star scale.
If anybody is interested, please pm me so that we can begin to discuss, and if not, look forward to reading the upcoming articles.
