The DBacks agree to trade:
Aledmys Diaz 2018: 2.1M 2019: 2.1M
to the Rays in exchange for:
Pick 2.14
Ryan Castellani Spec
Brian Miller Spec
Jake McGee 2018: 8.9M B Arb Year 7 of 7
I'm giving up a cheap SS that's one season removed from being an all star and taking on Jake McGee's big B Arb Contract in order to add some more young assets. Appreciate working with you on this @cc44driver. I'm glad you're in the league.

Rays agree- needed to shed some salary, and picked up a potential decent middle infielder, the payroll flexability will help. thanks for the trade and best of luck

approve- it cost the Rays some to get that salary he wanted, but might be worth the gamble

Veto. I see this as a veteran owner taking advantage of a new owner. Diaz, is a year removed from being an All-Star, now he is a back up option for the Blue Jays at either SS or 2B and a really good AAA player. Jake McGee is still a late inning MLB RP, so he isn't exactly a burden, and an easy enough player to sell to a contender. Miller and Castellani are both good prospects, plus the draft pick has pretty good value. If this were two veteran teams, I would chalk it up to owners wanting to forge their own way, but since one owner is new, I think it fair to offer a chance at possibly making a trade that is more balanced, this is a terrible trade for the Rays.

I was going to just address this privately, but this sort of collusion should be brought to the attention of the league, just in case these characters are in any other leagues you are a part of. You will notice, the responding party in the message is the Nationals, not the Rays.

People who are innocent would not admit guilt in this scenario even with the surprising amount of evidence. Is it possible Dave has just been helping his cousin? I think there's a non-zero chance. But this more-or-less seals it for me. I think at the very least Dave has been running the Rays throughout these trades and free agency. The paragraph structure for the two teams are the exact same with only single line breaks before paragraphs. Not a lot of people type with this format, even on mobile. See the following trade reasoning from their last two trades. Next, they have the exact same bid format. 1) Both spell years as yrs, which only a handful of people do 2) both use the @ sign in their bid 3) Both also leave out the $ sign.

I haven't been running them but I do have access to his account on my phone and he does mine on his, like I said in the apology, if we need to be removed we accept it. C just made a dumb mistake but it makes us both look real bad and there is nothing we can do about that now, so if the league and Commish thinks we need to go it's fitting, as it looks like we have cheated and colluded, but we did not intend to

Why do you guys have access to each other's account? Why is that necessary?

Something we always done, yahoo, CBS, ufs when it was in business. We just always allowed the other to access our accounts in case the other wasn't able to make transactions or put in lineups, we are both old so we pre-exist before the smart phone era, lol. We each have a link on our phones to each other's leagues so he made a mistake, and made us both look like bad dudes, we aren't and didn't intend to be

I can see the ESPN account being shared, I fail to see the necessity of sharing a forum account.

Also, if you're using a phone browser, you would have to constantly be logging in and out to go from team to team. Why is CC logged into your account at all - he's only been in the league for one week. I would think he'd be focused on his team? This doesn't really answer anything, imo.

I can't answer for him, could have clicked the wrong link, it was a mistake on his part, again, it does look bad and we apologize

Even if you have a link it still directs to the same URL, your browser on your device will store cookies and keeped you logged in under the same account. Perhaps this is the mistake you guys made, assuming you could click a link to log into someone else's account.
But why do you need access to each other's forum account? When we message the Nationals we expect to talk to the Nationals owner only. If we message the Rays account, we expect to only talk to the Rays account. Intercepting that message before it reaches the intended recipient is a breach in fair play, even if you are cousins. If your cousin wants to ask your advice afterwards, then that's fine, but that's not what is going on here.

Your point is valid, again it was a mistake that looks like a real stink, if we are allowed to stay I'm sure it will never happen again, but again that's up to league
