Restricted Free Agent Rights

Hey guys!

Rule update as I found something that hadn't been addressed.  There's a few players that still have restriction tags on them that were not signed in free agents.  Going forward here's how we will address this:

New Rule:

Teams that have a restriction tag on a player will have that restriction right dropped on the last day of the off-season in which the restriction tag was given.  

Hopefully there's no issue with this change, but in the past I had just deleted the players off the roster once the season started.  If you want to keep a player, just offer him a minimum contract before the season starts.

With RFA bidding being such a weird process (you have your cap space sitting out there for a lot longer and all), I could see it being a thing where teams just don't bid on RFAs now until the start of the year so they can bid on them as unrestricted guys. Doesn't seem worth it to me just to not have "RFA" listed next to some guys on a Google sheet.

Smart GMs will put a bid on their r-tag players and start the clock. I don't forsee an issue with any R-Tagged guys projected to put up points.

Yeah... if a GM doesn't bid on his own player by then.  I'll say that's on them.
