Hello All, With Ken wrapping up his season preview and the first iteration of computer picks being published, it is time for the people's vote! This is mostly to see how bad we are at this, but it is fun. I will be checking at hte end of the season to see who got the most right. 1 point for each correct playoff team that qualifies, a bonus point for each division winner you correctly select, and an additional bonus point for the correct seeding so for example this would get you 3 points: 1 AL East Champion: Blue Jays Anyways, I will go first to start things off: 1. AL East Champ: Blue Jays 2. AL Central Champ: White Sox 3. AL West Champ: Angels 4. WC1: Royals 5. WC2: Yankees 6. WC3: Tigers 1. NL West Champ: Giants 2. NL Central Champ: Astros 3. NL East Champ: Braves 4. WC1: Rockies 5. WC2: Brewers 6. WC3: Cubs WS: Blue Jays beat the Astros #1 Pick: Orioles FYI: I will be posting a similar post for MLB Predictions and don't forget the bold predictions thread as well.

Can’t count on those Will projections! They had the Braves projected for like 1 win last year! Use your heart and pick your teams. Go Braves!

Final Standings based on the point system explained in the intro:
Arizona, Colorado, Chicago Cubs, and Will's Projections tied for 13.
The rest of the rankings: TOR 10 DET 9 Ken 8 Hou 8
Overall: These scores are unremarkable because the highest possible score is 30 so we are all bad at predictions.
Rankings based on correctly predicting teams making the playoffs (this is without the bonus points and a simple did the team make the playoffs yes or no) Ari 9 CHC 9 CPU 8 COL 8 Tor 7 Det 7 Ken 7 Will 6
No one selected Minnesota nor Pittsburgh to make the playoffs, only 1 selected Seattle (we get it Tanner), and only 3 selected Boston or Philly. All other playoff teams received at least 7 votes. (Mil was left out by Det, and CHC were left out by Hou)
On the flipside, KC and Hou were unanimous picks to make the playoffs with Det also receiving 6 of 8 and NYM and NYY each receiving 5 out of 8.
The most wrong prediction award goes to Colorado for selecting TB who went 1-18 to make the playoffs.
Also no one guessed Padres for #1 overall selection so we were all wrong there.
