72 hours seems like an unusually lengthy amount of time for free agency even if it’s just the first week. 48 even seems long. It’s 24 hours during the season. I propose a year round clock of 36 hours.

I like 36 hours year round. It keeps it so we don’t have to change things for free agency at any point and gives people time to up bids and spend money

I like the 24 hour in season clock, but I wouldn’t mind trimming down to 48 hours. I’ve got nothing better to do during the offseason

I agree with Will. The 24 hour in-season clock works fine. Trimming down to 48 hours in offseason seems like a good idea.

We cruised through pretty much all of free agency in just over two weeks (1/2-1/16). I don't see why we have a rush to reduce the clock on players... clearly it didn't hold anything up. I think people are busy, not everyone can log on every single day starting the New Year, 72 hours in the first week (when our system releases all 200+ players at once) is helpful to all thirty teams.
