Gonna have to veto this one. Beltre is not worth that much IMO

I accept. Listen, I know Moustakas is the next great thing. Alex Gordon was too. Brandon Wood was a can't miss. Homer Bailey. Matt Weiters....It's a move to reduce risk. A proven star at a thin position isn't so bad....is it?

"Royals I want Moustakas, I have to veto. Then that would mean I can't have him."

Veto. I see what your saying about getting a proven player but Beltre isn't a star and the second rounder is very valuable too

Veto. Moustakas is one of the best prospects in baseball, beltre's over 30 and on the decline. If this is what you want for Moustakas royals, I think anyone would take him.

I have no problem with the veto. I love the interaction. I would say that I disagree with Beltre being washed up at 32. Currently he's number 7 in the majors for RBI and ESPN has him as number 3 on their player rater among 3B behind Jose Bautista and ARod. Don't want to run my own guy down, but if he drives in 25-30 like Beltre has for the past 5-6 years and is around 90 RBIs each year, I'll be pretty happy. So far he has one career homer. And then there's Alex Gordon, and Brandon Wood and Sean Burroughs and Matt Weiters...for what it's worth.
