I'll approve, but I don't know how to value this. To me, you're not losing anything Tim. You're not losing a pick, you're simply moving down a round in the draft. Not losing a pick, but you're gaining 16mil in flexibility. It's a win win for you. Then the question becomes, moving down how many rounds makes it a good trade? 2? 3? But its better, so I'll approve.

This has to wait, Nationals GM (Tim) and Yankees GM (Jacob). We can't trade 2020 picks during the draft. This would have to be a player picked in the 3rd and a player picked in the 4th, and then traded after the end of the 4th round. Rules state "a player can be traded at the conclusion of the round in which he was drafted in" if I'm remembering right. I'm if you want to repost a trade, but if it's these assets, it can't happen.

This is still a pretty bad trade for New York, I feel like you should be able to at least get one draft pick without giving one up to take on this much salary. Keep it in mind for future trades dude. Killer deal for Washington.
Approve.

I mean if we really think about it he is only clearing $8M because he could cut him and get that same benefit. This is not the $16M cap clearance that is appears.
