Like I've said, I got aggressive for the 2020 season that didn't happen, so needing to rebuild the depth I lost to make that happen. Obviously could've tagged Arenado, but my team's currently all stars and no depth, so wanting to build a more well-rounded organization.

Denver obviously picks up a nice cornerstone building block as some of his other prospects start to get called up.

Who am I going to get in FA that will be as impactful as Nolan and for $13 at that?
I lose some of my prospects that I like but I deal from a position of depth (2-3 solid SS ahead of Volpe/quite a few OF that’ll be in the MLB by the time Cowser also becomes relevant).
Couldn’t pass up on adding a player I really enjoy watching for a reasonable cap hit.

The yearly Orioles see-saw continues. This is good value for them though considering Arenado's pedigree. It's not out of the realm of possibility that he scores 650+ points next season. I really like Volpe.

San Diego gets one of the best guys at the hot corner in the game. It's a considerable price... not sure I would take that leap now, maybe a year from now? I'm assuming they will Franchise Tag him next season... so Arenado should be around by the time this team is good.
