Orioles trade:
SS Eduardo Garcia $300k (spec) 12th Round Pick (BAL)
Athletics trade:
C Mike Zunino 23: $3.5M, 24: $3.5M, 25: $3.5M (option) $2M coverage in 2023
Was looking for a catcher that would allow me to play Melendez in OF if needed/fill in if Melendez gets hurt.
Thanks for the easy negotiations, Jonny!

Accept. Happy to get an emerging spec in the Brewers org and another pick to help continue the build up of talent. Zunino should serve you well.

Allow. Eduardo Garcia was signed for $1.1M by the Brewers, since then he has done a good job of putting on weight and adding strength giving him that "good body" that is geared for selling jeans (I can't remember how the quote went in Moneyball). Garcia is a good candidate to have an overhaul on his swing, add some baseball knowledge and maybe you have a potential player, but until then he looks like organizational depth.
