I’ve been shopping Naylor all off-season with not much interest. After signing Meneses he became much more expendable. I’m glad to bring Samad Taylor home and Corona is pretty good, especially with a shot of Bicardi Limón.

Cubs accept. Have a hole at first base and nothing coming up in the minor leagues, so getting four years of control with Naylor is exactly what we were looking for. Not easy giving up the best prospect in baseball, Samad Taylor. But someone has to go, and the depth at 2B in the minors helps soften the blow. First move of hopefully more to come with the Cubs nearing the end of the rebuild.

allow. Samad Taylor, needs to stay healthy and get the right opportunity as his game doesn't force himself into the lineup although he is a guy you want on the field, he has quick movements and is going steal bases, I see a 50 bat with 40, maybe 45 power, 60 field, 45/50 arm, 65/70 speed. Kenedy Corona, is a under the radar prospect, that looks like he is still developing, the swing doesn't have much power in it, but if this guys develops, he could be a MLB LF.
