Rays accept. I've also been looking to trade Freddie Freeman for a while, and I'm pretty satisfied with this return. Thanks for the negotiations Nationals GM (Tim) and best of luck to Freeman & the Nats.

Approve. Nationals might have the edge over San Francisco after these last two trades.

allow? This deal makes great sense for the Nationals, but for the Rays, what are they thinking? Giving up one the most consistent high production 1B and covering $23.6M for 2 seasons, just to get this package in return. One would think that you would have to give up multiple top 100 prospects to make this sort of deal, and kudos for Tim for getting someone to agree to this trade. This is the sort of trade that should get an entire front office fired. We all make bad trades, it happens, hopefully the Rays can recover from this deal, but it will likely take at least 3 years maybe more.
Taj Bradley, is in a good situation with the RL Rays, he has a MLB fastball and a cut fastball, so he will most likely be an effective MLB pitcher, his release point is different for his off speed pitches giving good hitters opportunities to take advantage of his lesser pitches. It seems likely that the Rays will limit his off speed pitches and trot him out for one round of the lineup playing up his fastball.
Joey Cantillo, is a pitcher as opposed to a thrower, has a good baseball mind and knows how to pitch. Throughout his minor league career he has been on a mission to gain velocity on his fastball, which I think lead to his shoulder problems last season, but there isn't too much not to like about Cantillo, 23' will be a very telling season of how his future will look.
Brennen Davis, I see an athletic OF who can play CF, he reminds me of Trayce Thompson. I see him struggling with MLB pitching, but with the right coaching and patience could develop into an everyday CF.
Carlos Rodriguez, has RP written all over his future, although his build and stuff dictates that the Brewers develop him as a potential SP. He throws hard and lands off balance, his delivery motion isn't always the same, but he has good stuff and seemingly a good sense of knowing where the ball is going to go.

Approve. Honestly don’t hate this for Rays. Freeman’s 33, Alex clearly hasn’t gotten a worthwhile offer on him for a while, and he walks away with a solid group coming back.
A deal can always be better, but like that the main 3 pieces of the group are all near the big leagues. Tucker/Hays/Wood/Davis has potential to be a fun OF group, and adding Bradley and Cantillo gives Rays some desperately needed near-bigs arms behind Daniel Espino.
Nice get by Tim, too. Excited for the Week 1 Nats/Giants matchup.
