Accept. I'm still in the middle of a roster re-shaping. I like Bassitt but the package falls more in line with my plans going forward.

allow. Big boi trade from Nik!!!
Robert Gasser - When he got drafted by San Diego he looked like he was just beating up on lesser players, in his Fort Wayne video he shows a strong arm that pushes through mechanics, then in his Biloxi (AA) video he looks like a dynamic SP option, in his Nashville (AAA) videos he shows poise and has control over his body mechanics even though it looked like he was pushing a bit to make up for a lack of volsity. Looks likes an average MLB SP.
Anthony Solometo - The 3/4 quarter release point plus the slide step delivery offers deception from a left handed pitcher that touches 97. I wanted dig deeper into Solometo (because I had the time and wanted to see if could find why he is considered an organizational top 10 prospect). At first it looks like he is just flailing his long arm around, but slowing down the video his release point for tunneling the ball is pretty close to right on, meaning he has better control over his body than it appears which can be difficult for a hitter to pick up on. However, in the stretch he looks uncomfortable and almost balks making me think he doesn't have a future a RP, but might as a SP? His breaking ball only sometimes bites, half the time it floats before the bend. I see Solomento as a project, because he flashes signs of being effective and could develop, but as of right now he won't fare well against good hitters.
