Blue Jays Accept. Been looking for a longer term answer at 1B and I believe I found him. Unfortunately, due to my previous issues at 1st this season, he will likely get hurt or optioned or something catastrophic soon.

Dunning is a replacement for the loss of Detmers. Hoping he sticks in the rotation for his career in the blue jays but we shall see.

Losing Detmers and mead sucks, but to get players of this caliber you have to move stuff you may not necessarily want to.

Accept. Trading from a position of strength at first base to acquire Detmers whom I had on my radar just a few weeks back. Both Vaughn and Dunning are entering their arbitration years as are a handful of other guys so this was a chance to free up some cap in addition to getting an extra year of control plus a spec who I still have hopes for.
