I accept. I know the cardinal rule is to not cash in your depth, and I've done that two deals in a row now with some high quality prospects. But I honestly think Carter is a 4+ PPG star with his plate skills and doubles power, even if the HR power never quite materializes to get him past 20. I've got assets to move still that will help recoup this depth, and a ton of draft picks too. Overall, I think I make my future outlook a lot brighter adding another star talent to my crop of guys. Accept. I feel I’m going to regret this. I agree with Max’s thoughts on Carter. I’m banking on Miller being healthy, Davidson to continue to be sub 30% K rate, Thompson to develop, and my drafting ability. The package has more upside but more risk.
