Cubs Trade:
Elijah Green (Prospect) CHC 2nd Round Pick Rece Hinds (Prospect) Christian Chamberlain (Prospect)
Red Sox Trade:
Carlos Correa: 2023 - 12.70 mil ($9.5 Mil Coverage) 2024 - 12.70 mil ($6.3 Mil Coverage) 2025 - 12.70 mil
Really wanted an upgrade in the middle of my infield, and I believe that Correa provides that. I am hoping that this seasons performance isn't the player that he is, and I am also hoping that he is able to stay fully healthy. I don't love trading Green because I still believe in his potential, but a guy like Correa can fit great. Thanks for the good talks Sean!

Approve Approve Veto Veto Veto Approve Approve, kind of a sad return for Correa tbh, but I'll give it to Sean for being into Elijah Green, that prospect really knows how to fill out a jersey.

Gross - those K rates for Green and Hinds tell me these guys are never going to do anything in the majors, if they even make it to the majors. Chamberlains walk rate tells me the same thing. I don't even see a best case scenario for Sean in this trade unless he drafts well with the 2nd pick which will be around #50 overall. Yikes.
Sorry first time I believe putting my word in but I was ask to vote if we can’t trust who runs the league to fish out collusion trades where all adults here why the fuck do we have to vote on each other’s trades someone veto someone’s trade and then becomes petty back-and-forth Veto Veto Veto I hate this shit

Approve. I know Correa is a stud who is having a down year, and this is kind of a low return for him, but if his thing with his lower leg is actually real, it won’t look like as bad of a trade. Just saying, he does come with risk.

Approve. Correa obviously has some ongoing health concerns considering two separate teams rejected his contract once they got medicals. Even if some think the specs suck in this deal, I also don't know what to think of Correa long-term. He also has been a below-average bat this year and prone to getting injured outside of the apparently very concerning medical so his stock is not exactly going in the right direction and can understand Sean wanting to deal him now.
