I finally came to my senses and realized that winning with this roster isn't sustainable, so dealing Eovaldi and Scott together brings in a nice haul to get the rebuild started. With everyone's elbows blowing up lately, I've realized it's time to move my pitchers to maximize the return I'm bringing in. Gonzalez is the clear headliner here, but Martin (though not what he once was value wise) and Pena are players I like a lot. Hickey should be a nice rotation catcher for when I am looking to be competitive again. Overall, I like this return quite a bit.

I really felt like my team is in a good spot to compete, and a top of the rotation arm in Eovaldi and closer in Scott is covering a lot of holes that the 2024 and 2025 Astros have. I will now begin to pray for the health of my two new pitchers' ligaments.
