Once again, I meant it when I said I was selling. We've been kicking Steele trade ideas around for a couple of months, centered around Soderstrom, and we finally found a return that I think made sense. The Brewers get one of the most consistent starters in baseball over the last two years when healthy in Steele and a decent bullpen piece in Saucedo. I get back my catcher of the future, a 1st, and a couple of prospects that fit my timeline much better.

Agreed. My approach to dealing with the rash of pitching injuries is to trade for a pitcher who's already hurt ... wait ... j/k, like Thomas said, this came together once the timing and returns aligned. In my case, I'm seeking a leg up during the regular season, and this addresses a significant need. Thanks for the talks, Thomas! I look forward to voting on more Guardians' trades
