Rockies confirm.  Phil approached me about Lowe, and I was needing something more stable at first base as my options have fallen by the wayside this year.  I'm hopeful after some reading and feedback that this is just a tough stretch for Lowe, and he'll be a starter for me at first for the next couple seasons.  Good talks, Phil!
