Tink Hence SP (STL) 300k

the Pittsburgh Pirates trade:

Edgar Quero C (CHW) 300k

Mariners accept, was looking for help at C and I'm hoping Quero can be my long term answer. Hence is a big price to pay but i feel better about my arms than catchers so i think its worth it. thanks Max.

I accept. Don’t think I’m at the stage where I should be targeting specific positions for prospects, so I will take what I feel is an upgrade in talent and upside at the expense of proximity and safer median outcome. Thanks Phil, good luck

I don't like this trade. Sure, Quero ranked 21st, Tink 40th. But catcher is a low point position, whereas SP are salivated over in this league. Being as they're both still specs, I think I have to approve cause Quero is ranked higher. I bet Phil has a ton of P specs, so it may make sense from that standpoint. Interesting.
