If it helps voters wrap heads around things, the trade is essentially two deals: Julio for Woo/Holliday/Comp B, and then Kirby/Schwarber for Harrison/Quero/Barco/Simpson/Comp B/3rd. Casey was clear in our talks that he only wanted to one trade if we did both, so posting as a collective trade.
Sucks to lose Julio in particular, but for me, this is about trying to get younger and manage the fact I'm pretty tight against the cap. Looking to build deeper organization overall and create a bit of spending room so I can fill out the roster in free agency so I'm not so top heavy. Casey obviously had several players in this deal on the block for a while, so we matched up pretty well as he looked to add some punch to his roster.
