Hey everyone,
Here to update a few rules, welcome some owners, etc.
First of all,
The polls for the salary cap penalties and cash trading ideas have been on for enough time in my opinion.
The salary cap penalty was voted in favor for. This means here is the new rule.
Salary Cap Penalty:
If a team goes over the salary cap at any point during the season, the team's highest paid player will be benched on there team on the scoring site. If the team team has not gotten under the cap by the second week following the discovered penalty, his entire team will be benched and his team will not be allowed to score any points. Finally, if the team still hasn't gotten under that cap by 3 weeks after the penalty is discovered, that owner will be removed from the league.
The cash trading idea was to close to call. The results were 5 yes, 4 no, and 1 other. After some new ideas or discussions have been talked through we may revisit this issue, but for now, we will have no cash trading.
Secondly,
I want to welcome our three newest members to the league. Jared, Jon, and Thomas who have taken over the Braves, Phillies, and Pirates. Thanks for joining guys! Hope you all enjoy the league.
Finally,
The White Sox and Athletics still need new owners. It would be great to fill up the entire league heading into our first off-season.
