The Miami Marlins trade : SP AJ Cole ('12: $0.3M)('13: $0.3M)('14: $0.3M) SP Tom Koehler ('12: $0.3M)('13: $0.3M)('14: $0.3M)
for
The Oakland Athletics :
RP Brian Fuentes ('12: $5.0M)('13: $6.0M club option)('14: FA)
I'm losing 2 pretty good pitching prospects, but i want my muchneeded closer. With this deal i'll have my bullpen complete.

I'm gonna veto this. Fuentes isn't even a closer, and AJ Cole is gonna be fantastic when he reaches the show.

I'm going to veto this. Brian Fuentes is probably the 2nd or 3rd closing option for Oakland this coming up year behind Balfour and De Los Santos. If both of those guys are as good as you say they are then you overpaid for an overpaid 36 year old mid reliever.

I will veto as well. Fuentes is old and past his prime and isnt the closer anymore. Also, AJ Cole should be an absolute beast in the show

Approve..maybe he overpaid maybe he didn't...this isn't going to change the out course of the league this season. Marlins needs a closer..that is all. Maybe fuentes isn't the best option but who's to say either of those prospects are going to be anything special. Just let the teams make their own decisions. Is there collusion here? I don't think so stop vetoing everything. Rant over

confirm, I get one great pitching prospect for a solid RP, the part I like is Koehler, a real good SP spect, but this isn't that bad!
