The Royals and A's have come to terms on a major trade, sending SS Jurickson Profar to KC in exchange for 2 prospects.
A's get:
OF Bubba Starling 300k
SS Jace Peterson 300k
Royals get:
SS Jurickson Profar 300k
I get Bubba Starling, who has as high of a ceiling of Profar, and I am worried about Profar and his bat, I see .260, 35 SB, and GG defense from Profar, and .330 30 HR from Starling. SS Jace Peterson is a gem in the Padres system taken in the supplemental round. He profiles as the SS of the future, and in Eugene was the #1 hitter in front of 2B Cory Spangeberg. I am a big fan of Peterson and Starling.
