This deal will shape the A's franchise for years to come, all non listed salaries are 300k:
Brewers get:
Yu Darvish 61.7 million
Rickie Weeks 10 million
Kyle Drabek .3 million
Athletics get:
Trevor Bauer
Matt Barnes
Jesse Biddle
Mike Olt
Brian Roberts 10 million
I basically take a free agent signing, Jemile Weeks, Grant Balfour, and Trevor Cahill into this and Rymer Liriano.
Trevor Bauer is my favorite prospect.

Well, the way I see it is, Trevor Bauer is the best prospect in MLB (IMO).
I was not going to do well, and I shed over 50 million in cap.
I would be happy to get the 1st overall pick.
My team would have not been great anyways, at best I could have had one year of contention, and then it would be so much harder to rebuild.
Bauer for Weeks
Darvish and Drabek, on huge salary, a free agent signing, for 3 prospects and a half way decent 2B

Noah darvich is worth the return sure ur rebuilding but darvidh is young. And Bauer lmfai there are so many better specs

It's not intentional tanking, it is rebuilding. He is giving up a lot, but he is getting a good return. Yeah, Darvish is still pretty young, but his salary is enormous. He will never provide that much value. Bauer on the other could be a league average pitcher and still provide value on his contract. I think it is a great deal for a rebuilding team.
