The Houston Astros agree to send SP Carlos Zambrano and Colorado's 6th Round pick to the Cardinals in exchange for prospects Tim Wheeler and Brandon Martin (SS Rays)

Contracts

Zambrano: 12: $18 mil, 13: $19.3 club option

Prospects all 300K.

I accept as I currently have 11 SP, and I add more depth to my stacked minors already. My future OF of Springer, Yelich, and Wheeler will be nasty!

I accept this trade. I was in need of another SP and I think we have yet to see the best of Carlos this year, especially in the spacious park he pitches in. I'm a tad afraid of Wheelers k totals and Martin is still a long ways off it seems.
