Dodgers get: SS Adrian Cardenas 300k SS Alexi Cassilla 1.3 mm OF Eric Thames 300k
A's get: OF Jiwan James 300k RHP Jose Campos (SEA) 300k SS Willie Bloomquist 3mm OF Rajia Davis 1.2 mm
I deal off Thames, a solid young OF, and Cassilla, a decent utility player. I bought high on Bloomquist, and Davis provides steals.
Campos and James fit into what I am trying to do, though I wish I could have kept Thames.
SYSTEM: C: Jorge Alfaro Kyle Skipworth
1B: None
2B: Cory Spangenberg
SS: Ja Ku Lee Jace Peterson
3B: Mike Olt
OF: Bubba Starling Jiwan James Domingo Santana Rymer Liriano Michael Choice Zack Cone Luis Dorodomo
P: Josh Lindbolm Kevin Quakenbush James Paxton Jose Campos Trey McNutt Matt Barnes Trevor Bauer Robbie Erlin Phillippe Aumnont Joe Ross Adrian Houser Matt Purke

Really dont understand this for LA, all hes getting back is 2 utility guys Casilla who is always hurt and Cardenas who's only hitting over .300 because he plays in the PCL and Thames who has the upside of a mediocre power hitter. He trades away Jose Campos who is one of the best pitching spects in the game and James who has stolen 70+ bases in his first 2 minor league seasons. On top of that Bloomquist and Davis who will both get 20+ steals. I've got to veto this because I dont like seeing LA get a really bad deal here

Accept.
Bloomquist is old and i sold high on him, also he was just a benchwarmer for me. I needed a 2B and Alexi Casilla is a good one for me who is young and will improve his skills while he also provides speed. Davis is like a 5th/6th OF now so is not as effective on my team. Jiwan James is on a crowded Phillies team and system so i dont think he will ever make it big in the show. Jose Campos i HATED to get rid if, but Athletics wouldnt do the deal without him and i could not go without a 2B any longer (keep losing).
I reluctantly lose Campos to get a decent 2B î˜

My beef is that Casilla has never been able to hold a starting job, its early but hes already hitting .190 and with someone like Brian Dozier in the minors who is tearing it up and has been since spring training if he doesnt start to hit he will lose his job. As for improving, Alexi is going to be 28 next month and this should be his "prime" hes not going to get much better if any better at all at this age. He has the least job security out of any 2nd baseman in the majors and Campos could net you someone 10x better. But that's just my 6 cents on the subject.

Not the greatest deal. But Thames is a talented young player. Approve
