It's one things to sign a guy and then later to decide to ship him but it's another to repeatedly sign guys and flip them within a couple of weeks of signing.
We need a rule which will prevent this, similar to the ones that exist in most pro leagues. A 6-month minimum perhaps? We could allow each team one exception or something like that for special circumstances, but we can't keep letting this happen over and over.

Sign and trade works in the NBA because teams need to clear cap to get a player. If they don't need the cap space, they can just sign the player without giving up anything.
In this case, you're signing players because guys don't check the FA section and then just flipping them for prospects. That's not allowed in any pro league that I know of.
