Veto, Machado is a top 5 spect, Michael has sucked, Maholm is decent but not great, and Rudy Owens stinks, the 2 spects are not top 120. 2.1 is a great pick but doesn't fufill the difference.

VETO. Machado is a great prospect with a chance of becoming a great SS for a dynasty. Maholm is awful this year, White Sox will likely miss with that pick, because he has a good chance too. The spects aren't good at all. This is an awful trad, VETO.

I approve, white sox gets depth with this deal, machado could very well be a bust.

Maholm may be an average starter,he is a workhorse. In a league that scores points for "innings pitched" that counts for something. Together with K's and Wins?? he makes a decent starter.
Michael may have had a tough start, but we must not forget he was a 1st round pick and he is very young and already playing at A+ where he normally would be in rookieball. In 2 years he could very well be a top 30 prospect.
Owens is also still very young and already at AAA where he made a significant improvement in his second year at this level. A trend with him cause he did that at every level he played. It tells me he learns/improves quick and it wouldn't surprise me if he got called up very soon.
That together with pick #31 is a decent haul for 1 prospect. Even though it's a top 10 prospect.
Could he get a better deal? Maybe, but this one isn't bad at all. Both can become winners in this deal. Well Done.
