Gerardo Parra, OF ($0.4, $0.4, $0.4)
Royals 2nd round pick (2.16) in the 2012 Amatuer Draft
Royals 3rd round pick (3.16) in the 2012 Amatuer Draft

for

Adam Wainright, RHP ($9M, $12M)

This fills a large, cavernous hole at the top of my rotation while dealing players from the one position where I have a surplus of players.

Diamondbacks to accept.

I Accept

With Gardner and Parra i solidify a big part of my OF future.
And get some cap room as a bonus.
The 2 draft picks will help me to get better in the future.
My roster was to lopsided leaning heavely on pitching.
I have 5 top pitchers but no position players that can help me.
With trading 1 of these pitchers i wanted to get Position Player and Future help.
With this deal i get exactly that.
